Over 50 reports were presented, with many slated for publication
The Department of General Chemistry and Ecology of KNRTU-KAI hosted the annual International Scientific Conference "Applied Ecology." The hybrid event – offering both online and offline participation – brought together young researchers and students specializing in applied ecology and related disciplines from universities across Russia and abroad. Conference discussions were focused on environmental challenges that Russian and foreign cities face, with an emphasis on practical solutions for ensuring the environmental safety of air, water, and soil. Over 50 presentations were delivered and evaluated by a panel of experts, many of which are being considered for publication.
The conference aimed to promote scientific research among students, foster stronger scientific collaboration and partnerships between Russia and other countries, as well as strengthen ties within the Academic Union of Green Development of the Association of Sino-Russian Technical Universities.
